Canoeing for Beginners

by Mike Yeaman

9 - 14 September 2024 7.15pm

Inspired by a true story – but any similarity to persons living, or pretending to be dead is purely coincidental.

Beryl and Frank want the retirement of their dreams, and plan to achieve it with a canoeing accident to claim on life insurance. In this delicious modern farce everything goes disastrously wrong. The hapless couple are forced to deal with the attentions of their children Keith and Carol, the very erstwhile police officer Sergeant Andy Watts and a shifty Cuban Official Mendoza. Follow their antics in the UK and in Cuba if you can, but be warned – it’s going to be a bumpy ride!
